Trouble connecting to live, downloadin profile

I'm in NC with TWC and have not been able to connect all day. But I have a friend maybe 5 miles or less from me with the same set up and his not having any issues. I have a feeling something bad is going on with Xbox Live.

 

NYC - no connection all day

 

Holy sh*t us NYers are gettin *** here!!!! I live in manhattan,NYC and all of my friends that have Xbox are down too it's time warner but the ones with out TWC are running ok so it's obvious but hey I could be wrong. I was on with a cool cat from Xbox support
over the phone and did everything we could I than called TWC and they just push and body asking about Xbox problems to the side.i can't stand TWC they give no *** to any thing gaming stuff connection wise

 

Ugh, still can't connect.

XBL has been down for 360 all day.

Getting ready to go to bed, hope they have this sorted in the morning.

 

As of this morning, XBL is up and running on my 360's

 

Same problems here in ohio. I've actually had immense trouble downloading my profile after deleting it. I've had trouble connecting to xbox live. It seems when I test my connection It's something different every time. I do not have TWC though, I'm using
a local provider called Hometown Service.

 

My problem was fixed and still working this morning, was fixed late Sat. night early Sun. morning. I haven't had an issue since, I have to hand it to microsoft and their team on getting things fixed. It took a little while but they have so few problems to
their Live service that I can't complain! It just happened at a bad time for me, don't get very many days I can sit around and game. Oh well but wanted to say thx for the fix.

 

i have been having trouble with games played on older xbox 360's. I have 2 older consoles and both were fine before the last update. i connect fine to Live and can do whatever i want with netflix and any other app that required the internet. When i put a
game in the console and hit play game, player starts to run the game and then i get the "disconnected from live" message that pops up and it takes me back to Live home menu and connects automatically back into live. i have done everything i have found on the
net to "fix" and still same results. i have deleted profiles and reinstalled, reset router, changed to newer router, forwarded ports for xbox 360, straight connect from modem to console. i am at a loss. could it be both cd/dvd units in console? any other suggestions
would be nice.

Not only I can't connect to xbox live. It deleted my profile when it said to sign in my email to check if update is needed an security purposes an now I can't download my profile cause of connection error via xbox live

 

I am in Maryland with comcast and the same problem is happening to me as well.
