Trouble acessing... uh... servers?

So, basically in Halo Reach, every time I start it up, it treats me like a brand new player, despite the fact that I still have my rank, credits and armor. Blood Dragon is sorta similar. It says that I'm disconnected from Live, and that cloud is offline,
but when I select it, I still have my auto save.

Yes, but all the stuff on my profile doesn't show up. My gamerscore, gamer pic, and entire profile page doesn't show.

these steps a shot and see if they help. Note: you will want the "clear local Xbox 360 storage" option under the "Xbox requires you to clear space..." section. This will uninstall your Xbox 360 games and your profiles. Post back and let me know how it goes!

 

Yes, it worked. But when I did it, it left the games. Does that matter?

I am having a similar issue to this but with Gears of War 2. I have installed this from a code sent to me for purchasing the Ultimate Edition, and also from the disk itself.

However the past few days I have been trying to finish re-playing it, and every time it loads to the menu, the message pops up saying it is 'updating the network settings' in the usual way, however it always freezes at this point, makes an awful buzzing
noise, then crashes the game.

Is there an issue with the servers for this game, as it was working fine until about 2 days ago, now I can't get the game to work in any way. Can this be fixed?

Let's have you try
uninstalling the game,
power cycling your Xbox One console, then reinstalling and try again.

Sorry for the late reply, I have done this many times and none of this has worked. It freezes at the exact moment it starts up, when the 'updating network preferences' message pops up on the screen. It even happens when I run the game from the disk.

What else can I do, as we are 3 chapters from the end and want to finish it!

Have you tried clearing your local Xbox 360 storage yet? If not check out the steps over in

this FAQ and run through the steps to clear local Xbox 360 storage. Once you clear storage, attempt a full power cycle and try starting the game back up. Let us know how it goes

 

Will this work on the Xbox One, as that is where I am currently playing it.

If I clear the local storage, will I lose all my saves so far? As we are almost at the end of the game on insane - I don't want to lose my progress
