Trouble accessing my installed games offline.

I write this issue because is simply infuriating. Recently i tried to play my xbox games that were downloaded onto my console when i was abroad and without any kind of internet connection. I couldnt get to see any game in my library, as if i didnt have any
game installed, but my memory was almost full and i could access the games i played recently without trouble. The point here is that this is my only console and of course my primary one, so i cant help but to wonder what happened. Thing here is, i can see
why games that xbox posted on gold subscription offers are restricted to gold. But i will not accept to have my own games restricted by not having internet connection. If i want to keep my console offline i should be able to and if i want to play my games
after i have purchased them and installed them i should be able to do it. Id like to fix this , if possible, any ideas?

In case it doesnt have a fix i might certainly stop getting xbox games and purchasing future consoles, since i dont want to be told when to play.

My console is home xbox already, i tried setting my console offline, also resetting it by pressing the power button for 10 seconds. I had to reconnect the console to internet to see my games after many tries.

Hi there,

Sometimes, is more about the game itself, not all the games can be played offline. Also, if you set up your console as the Home Xbox, make sure you do it when you are online, otherwise it might not work.

To play offline on your console, you have to set your console as the home Xbox and go into network settings and set the console as offline. Then you can play the games offline as much as you want.

I do not have access to another internet connection so I am unable to check this.

I know for a fact that Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is one of the few games that installs offline, and it works fine, presumably because the game is ~200MB. However, another game that installs fully offline, Forza Horizon 3, stops installing at 11GB, whether online or offline from disc.

The problem with my Xbox Live is the fact that I don’t have internet lol forgive me if this is a dumb question but I’m just wondering if I need Xbox Live/internet access to install an offline single player game because it’s not even attempting to install
the game
