    Tropico 5 (Not) For Xbox One?


    Hi Everyone! So I have to say I was really surprised that Tropico 5 was announced for 360, PS4, PC, but not X1. Originally I believe it wasn't announced for PS4, so I thought maybe it was just a numbers thing (not a large enough installed base), but then
    PS4 version was announced as well as a SteamOS version. Is Microsoft struggling with developer relations after the reverse on DRM last year?

    I'm surprised to see a title that has come out for Xbox consistently skip over the X1, when they're working on a version for a set of machines not even on the market yet. Is anyone hopeful they'll still bring the franchise to X1?

    Whos Choosing The Backwards Compatiable Games

    I don't think we get Tropico 4 because we have Tropico 5 and it's multiplayer.

    The SteamBoxes are just linux PCs, those have been on the market for years.

    Some devs it seem are finding the One more difficult to program for than others. I expect we'll see a One version of the game down the line when they have it running as well as they'd like. Hopefully with some nice little exclusive content to make up for
    the wait.

    I looked at the Kalypso forum thread regarding it going to PS4, and people asked about it going to X1. They never replied to the people who asked about it going to X1 even though they answered everyone else's questions immediately and the people who asked
    about X1 repeated their question. So I don't think we'll be getting any answers on this one anytime soon.
