    Tropico 5 Freezing since July 2016 update


    Since a late July required update Tropico 5 freezing on random auto-saves, accompanied by occasional scrambled images, especially on the Build menu. Installing the oydate fixes the freezing, but locks you out of all DLC you purchased.

    If anyone else is having this problem PLEASE contact Calypso media directly, either via Customer service or on the Tropico 5 international forums. They need more information from as many players as possible to reproduce and fix the problem!

    Anyway,there's an xbox one version of Tropico 5 coming out in 2016 so that won't get added.

    Infinite console updates

    Last update on my system was 5/02/2016. Has their been any NEW console updates since then?

    Tropico 5 Freezing since July 2016 update

    Just saying - it has been over a month and no fix from Klaypso. In order to get a refund you need to first contact Calypso, and then, once you have proof of the abysmal customer service there you can take it to Microsoft support and try to get a refund.

    recently another user posted about this issue here, and linked to the thread on the Kalypso forums. after reading through i see that they are unable (unwilling) to fix the problem. i hate to see (relatively) larger companies or organizations taking advantage
    of the "little guys" (loyal customers). as i have posted in that thread, the only way to prompt them to action is to get a bigger guy (MS) to fight for us. they have a responsibility to make a game that works. i suggest you post in the other thread as well,
    as the more support it gets, the more attention this issue will receive, speeding up the chances of a fix being released. (NOT slowing it down as Kalypso seems to think.) people have already started demanding refunds for this unusable game, so i feel confident
    that MS would much rather come to a solution than having to return a bunch of people's money, and lose customer's faith in them.
