Trittons pro + setup ?

Hi Rage! You should be able to plug the optical cable that comes with the Pro+ into the optical out on the Xbox One and into the optical input on the decoder box into which the headphones plug. The mic is a different story - the headphones should have come
with a cable designed to run from the inline audio control OR the headset itself, and into the controller. On the Xbox One, the controller port is a completely different configuration than the 360, so you have to purchase something called the Xbox One Headset
Adapter, which plugs into the controller and allows the 360-style standard mic jack to plug into it. If the mic cable from your headphones is a 3.5mm jack, it'll just plug straight into the adapter. If it's a 2.5mm, there is a little 2.5-to-3.5mm connector
that comes with the Headset adapter. It's how I have mine set up, and they work perfectly. Mine are the AX720+ but same idea as the Pro+.

Now, to get the audio to work, you'll press Menu on your controller, then go to Settings, then Sound, and you'll want to change Optical Audio to Dolby Digital, and your format should be 5.1.

Turtle Beach x42 or Tritton AX Pro

ive got X41s and Tritton AX720s. my trittons are hands down better than my x41s. i had the Tritton AX Pros for bout 8 months and the mic malfunctioned. tritton has a new line up of headsets coming out. i'll be picking up the WARHEAD 7.1

nice how about the tritton's. $169 pro and the black ops one.
