Tritton Ax720 works just fine with the adapter.

So I like many others didn't see the point in purchasing another spendy headset when my 720's are awesome and Mad Catz customer support is pretty good. First I tried one of the various youtube headset mods to get chat working but everyone echoed on my headset.
After trying multiple times to fix it I finally gave in and started searching high and low to find the xbox one headset adapter. So after going through a few cables a 3.5 to 2.5 stereo cable paired with the 3.5 to 2.5 adapter that comes with the headset adapter
makes chat work perfectly. I tried a standard 3.5 to 3.5 but it didn't work. I think a 4 conductor 3.5mm tip (4 segments) is needed to enable the chat. I'll order one and try it and post my findings.

Mic not being picked up with stereo adapter

Just to confirm what was already said: my Tritton AX720 headset will not pick up my voice while using the new chat adapter (the green indicator light in party chat does not even light up when I speak). I should hope there is a fix for this soon or I will
be returning the adapter.
