Tritton AX720 720 AMP Not working, but PC is.

Hi guys,

Does anyone know why my tritton ax720 headset isn't working on the xbox one? I have the amp plugged in via optical to the xbox one. When I have the inline adapter set to 720 AMP I can't hear any sound whatsoever, but when I change it to PC I hear sound.
My xbox one is plugged in via HDMI to my monitor and my monitor doesn't have an optical out so I can't try that straight to the amp. Any help would be appreciated!

I use
Sennheiser PC 360s, and they're awesome. It's a headset meant for pc, but I also use them with the Astro Mixamp, so everything is fine. If you don't want to use an Amp, then all you need is a cord for the mic to get to you controller. I have bought several
Tritton and Turtle Beach headsets, but they aren't that great. I will say this: I thought that the
Tritton ax 720s were probably the best of the bunch and if I had to go back to one of those brands, that would be my choice. On the Tritton ax 720 that I owned, the joints holding the part
that goes over your ears broke after a year of use. I wouldn't say that I was rough with them either. It seemed like natural wear and tear on already weak joints. Just be careful if you go that route.
