    I have bought the microsoft headset adapter updated with them plugged in. not sure if I can reapply it seems to say there is no updates when I go into accessories in settings. But I bought the tritton version of the headset adapter and the tritton chat cable.
    my friends are saying there is a major echo that is so loud to them it hurts their ears. I know the headset worked fine with the Xbox 360 slim 250 gb. Any ideas how to fix this kind of issue?

    ps I have tried useing the OMTP to CTIA cable as well still either no mic or echo

    I discovered this problem last night. I have the Tritton AX Pro 5.1 that I paid $190 for and now they are pretty much useless since they are not compatible with the voice chat port on the controller either!

    I also have checked per my friends request to see if there was a firmware update given by tritton and there isnt that I can see.

    Tritton AX Pro's use TruSurround (Real dolby digital 5.1) whereas Turtle Beach use simulated surround, Theres no subtitute for trusurround.

    So... If I connect my 360E to my TV via HDMI and then run a optical cable from my TV's Optical out port to a tritton pro+ decoder box will I be getting true 5.1 going into the decoder box? or will I need to buy the HDMI to Optical that turtle beach is
