    Hi, I am having trouble with a controller I recently bought. I bought it brand new not used. It works fine but when I try to plug my triton kama headset in, it makes a very loud static noise and continues to make the noise until I unplug it. I then plugged
    my triton kama into my 3 other controllers and they it worked fine. Also I plugged my astro a40s into this new controller and it also worked fine. So is this new controller just not compatible with the tritons headset adapter?

    Opinions regarding headsets.

    Holy crap.. £200+ i thought i was crazy wanting a headset for £110

    Im sat here with a £30 pair of tritons and i thought the sound quality was great, just the echo issues.

    i also have the same problem, i've tried updating my controller multiple times, even though i don't have to, i re calibrated my kinect, i muted my t.v. to see if that was the problem, i even have unplugged my headset from my controller and it still does
    it, i'n starting to think it's the adapter that comes with the Tritton Kama headset anyone have any other ideas before i trade these things in ?

    I also have this problem and I have no idea how to fix it. I've tried changing the chat and game volume to see if it would stop echoing but that didn't help. Any ideas.

    Oh. Your headset sounds like it needs repair. I would contact the maker of the headset to see if it's still under warranty.
