Triple A and DLC prices in Canada

Hi to the Folks in the Marketing Dept.

I noticed a long time ago that prices for AAA titles and DLC cost much more in Canada than in many other places in the world for example: we in Canada pay $79.99 CAD before tax for AAA titles, whether digital or physical copy, Recently I have seen in xbox
store the upcoming DLC for Destiny2 "Forsaken" selling digitally for $53.49 CAD, this particular DLC sells for $40.00 in most other places.

We are paying a full $20.00 more for any AAA title than our friends in the USA, this practice is very unfair and I would like to see the price fall more in line with what our US friends pay $59.99. I agree that there is a small difference in what our dollar
is worth compared to the petro dollar that USA uses but it doesn't account for a $20.00 difference. I could see a small difference in price when a physical product crosses our border, the cost is the same whether digital or physical copy though.

The hundreds of thousands of loyal xbox customers in Canada need you folks at xbox to adjust the prices in Canada to be more in line with what our US friends pay. I can honestly say that I for one am sick and tired of being penalized for living in Canada,
after all folks, we are your biggest allie and trading partner and I feel like we are being "ripped off". I am at the point where i am reluctant to purchase anything from xbox untill this situation is addressed and I have been a loyal customer for many years
and have spent quite literally thousands and thousands of good Canadian dollars on microsoft products mostly through xbox in that time.

I need you to do this so that I can continue to support xbox and its products. I hope that you will take the necessary action here.

    Regards

Im in Canada and currency is set to Euros...

So every time I wanna purchase some in game or look at a price of a DLC in game like VIP for Forza 5. It always comes up in Euros and my locale is set to Canada. I get the same thing when I look at the price of Ghosts season pass in game and it also comes
up in Euros and wants to charge VAT (UK Tax) to my credit card when I'm in Canada. Please help.

Triple A and DLC prices in Canada

Prices are largely set by the publishers and not Microsoft.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. If that is the case then the publishers need to stop this practice. The price should then be the same for all other than the current exchange rate of course.
