Trinitron warhead needs an adapter for Xbox one

Adrenline - The adapter that Microsoft is currently making is only for a 2.5mm Jack imput for existing wired headsets

The Tritton Warheads are 100% wireless and have no cables

All data to the headset is received wirelessly though the headsets docking station, so the adapter in current production is useless for the warheads

There would need to be a wireless adapter that would allow the warhead docking station to sync with the xbox one

I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, but I would like to add to Mister Beep's post - the Warhead Headset is incompatible with the "Stereo Headset Adapter" for chat, but as you listed you only want it for audio, it looks as though the 7.1 Dolby Warhead
Headset has an optical cable in the box with it. In that case, all you would need to do is connect to the optical out on your Xbox One, into the Optical IN on the Warhead's base station.

Then, in your Settings on the Xbox One (Menu -> Settings) go to Display & Sound, and under optical choose "Bitstream Out," and finally, choose the option for Dolby Digital.

That should be it, you should now get audio from your Warhead headset!

The Warhead does not use a cable. The Warhead's base station pairs with the 360 console, same as Microsoft's first party wireless chat mics do. It is the
only third party headset that does this. Microsoft is not working on an Xbox One to 360 wireless protocol converter.

Seems silly not to buy the console of choice in favour of your headset when an adapter will be available?

The
Warhead is unique in its fully wireless operation. There will be no adapter for it.



If you throw away $300 on a headset designed to work with a single product (Warhead's mic doesn't work with PC or PS3), then you shouldn't have a problem buying another one that's Xbox One-specific.

Unfortunately you cants use the mic/chat option with the warheads on Xbox one only the sound via optical. A wireless protocol adapter was never released and both systems use a different protocol.
