Trigger motors in Xbox Series Controller

This is a fault with the design of the controller. Having disassembled mine I can tell you that it is very odd.

The triggers have not stops on them When you pull them the motors attacked to the controller grind into the control board inside. The left trigger's motor grinds into an area labeled "Mylar". The right trigger actually grinds into a microchip on the board.
I imagine this will be a point of fault as a controller ages.

So every time you pull the trigger hard? You are damaging either the control board, a micro chip, the motor itself, or the flimsy plastic the motor is mounted to inside the trigger.

Actually as far as I know there are four rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers as opposed to the two in the Xbox 360 Controller.. The Xbox One Controllers has the "impulse motors" in the triggers.. But I assume that onyx62is could have ment to say that
there are two more rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers than there is in the 360 controllers..

Paddles and adjustable triggers are features, not changing your stick deadzones. Like I said most games have the settings anyway, its just for the games that don’t. I would say its more of a punishment for owners of standard controllers than a feature
for the elite. £120 for a controller that gets stick drift after a few months, not expensive at all..

Yeah I think people are looking into it to far. I'm not suggesting they make the regular controllers like the elite. I just want the ability to adjust the dead zones and sensitivity. Plus the addition to be able turn down the rumble motors. I really dont
like the rumble motors be full blast in the triggers but I dont want them all the way off either. For not costing much? Not sure what you mean they cost as much as 2 controllers. The series 2 as much as 3.

In this article from xbox.com it clearly states the it has for motors.. but the two new ones are quite small and housed in the triggers themselves... so they might not stand out that much..
