    This is to start a conversation about people being unfairly banned and people abusing the report system in a way to not silence someone who is harmful to the community but to just be an annoyance because they get an upper hand
    through the message reports. And can get away with saying things in parties with their actual voice because there’s no way to record parties. And if Microsoft did that I’m sure it would be an enormous issue. Which is why I think messages between people shouldn’t
    result in someone not being able to talk to anybody. Not talk in parties. Etc. An example of this. Someone can sit in a party and tell me they’re going to do awful things to my toddler daughter and say countless other extremely, Terrible profane things and
    as soon as I send them a message calling them inbreds I get an INSTANT ban. From 2016 I’ve had bans because I didn’t have a mic and someone just decided to start calling me names and slanderous things because I wasn’t as good at a game as him. So I send them
    a message telling him an obvious “leave me alone” message. I leave the party. Ban. And he can go back to telling people they suck at the game and hating on them when they’re trying to get better. How does this fix anything. Just keeps me from interacting with
    friends and having a good time on Xbox. Trash talk is trash talk but people shouldn’t be able to get away with it on their mic if we can’t do it in PM’s. PRIVATE. Messages.

    First off i want say i understand your frustration to a degree and i apologize for some of the “helpful” comments that come across a little harsh.

    Microsoft ToS are there to protect everyone from all ages. Now does it do it perfectly no it cant but the enforcmemt team does an amzig job day in and day out combating hate. This inckudes the responses like yours as well.

    Best thing to do is report, block, and igore. There are mant ways to avoid a potential toxic situation. Try nit to let the negativity get to you. Sorry for ur frustration.

    I don’t think you’re really understanding my points. The point is not that the rules are rules. The rules aren’t fair. They used to be but things have. Clearly changed. The new sjw times.

    It doesnt matter who started the fight common man you learned rhis in school

    Anyone regardless of who started it who breaks the rule will be punished

    You admited ro breaking the rules

    It does NOT make you immune to the rules because he started it

    It is your actions that affwxt your suspension not his

    My other post ALSO got locked because i was giving an example of someone harmful to the community and it got censored? All it said was “that guy can go and tell peope they suck at the game even more” after he was able to report me because i was defending

    Some of these comments seems a bit "harsh".

    If you report a player for anything that you think is in breach of the Code of Conduct/Terms of Service the enforcement team will investigate.

    If someone sends you harassing or vulgar messages just report and block them. Do not retaliate as this will be reported and you will be punished for it.

    Xbox is for everyone not just a select few.

    I would suggest you have a look at the COC/TOS to familiarise yourself with it again.
