Tried to redeem my free code for Minecraft windows 10 version, code is already redeemed

I wanted to play minecraft crossplatform from my pc with my friend on xbox. In order to do this i need to have the windows 10 version of the game. I went to the mojang website in order to get my code for the windows 10 version and redeem it on the microsoft
store, but it says the code has already been redeemed. I did not redeem the code, and I am wondering if someone gained access to my account and redeemed the code before I could. Is there anyway I can fix this issue?

I also talked with someone on microsoft support for a long time and they told me to put tghis number in my forum post so the promotional team can check the notes of my contact.

Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta Code already redeemed

Hi,

I recently just wanted to play Minecraft on my Windows 10 computer, and since I bought Minecraft already, I was given a free redemption code for the beta version. When I try to redeem the code, an error message pops up saying that it's already been redeemed.
Please help, this is my only xbox account and when I try to play Minecraft: Windows 10 edition it only gives me the option to play the free 90 minute trial, or pay for the game

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

Actually it's a "Minecraft for Windows 10" and the redeem code is "F9C43-HD6HT-9KYKK-Y3DQJ-4WPFZ" but when I went to redeem it on the computer it displayed as already redeemed.

I'm pretty sure it was for bedrock. Supposedly the code was sent out a while ago, but I have no way of finding it.

Minecraft was never sent as code in a Xbox Live message (unless someone sent you the game as a gift).

And if you redeemed the code, there is no need to search the code anymore, as games you redeem with a code are added to your account. So once you add a game via a code, you will always find it in the "Ready to Install" section of your console, or your Library
on your Windows 10 Store.

If you had the Xbox One Version, you would be able to upgrade to the Bedrock Minecraft on Xbox One for free if you bought the One Version digitally, or played the disc version of Minecraft Xbox One Version for more than 5 hours before February 2018.

But that would NOT give you the Windows 10 Version.

Only if you bought the JAVA Minecraft before October 2018, you would see a redemption button on your Mojang Account website, that would then reveal a code for the Windows 10 Version. That code could then be redeemed on the Windows 10 store to get the Bedrock
Version for Windows 10.

So you could only upgrade from a previous Minecraft on the same platform (i.e. Java -> Windows 10 Bedrock and Xbox One Version to Xbox Bedrock). But you could NOT cross-platform update (from Xbox One to Windows).

Did you previously redeem a code for the windows 10 version? Minecraft for Xbox One is not a play anywhere title so it does not let you play the windows 10 version as well. They are considered 2 different versions. So you would have had to either redeem
a code for the game or have purchased it in order to continue playing on the PC.
