Tried to get the Minecraft at 4.99$ promotion but couldn't

Was a Xbox 360 user and live subscriber and had originally purchased Minecraft Xbox 360 using MS points but then recently bought an Xbox One and then saw a promotion to get the Minecraft Xbox One edition at 4.99$. I then purchased the Minecraft Xbox One
edition but then got charged the full original amount (19.99$) without further explanation. Tried to get through Xbox Customer support to resolve this issue but the support person could not assist and referred me to this forum to resolve this matter.

I want to be credited the amount of 15.99$ so that the purchase reflects the price that was advertised (original price: 19.99$ advertized at 4.99$)

Minecraft not offering me the 4.99 upgrade

Minecraft is no longer appearing $4.99 for me either. It used to, and the promotion was supposed to run for a year, and it still advertises it on the site for $4.99, but its full price on site and on Xbox One.

 

Minecraft better together

I was told by Mark P. at Microsoft customer support to post it here, he said I should have the promotion to get l the new minecraft but he couldn't help me and to post here.

 

I really wish we could help you here but that is a billing issue that must be dealt with by phone support. Only they can handle billing issues. Please call them back and ask to speak with billing to get this resolved.
