Tried to factory reset a glitchy xbox. Now stuck in a loop

On the factory rest (the page as if you just got your Xbox) I click english in the location tab. Then I click US for the type of English.

The next tab down is network. I try to connect my military internet (boingo) and it says connection successful! But then jumps right back up to languages. I’m stuck in the loop.

Constant updates

I have this exact same issue (stuck on 1070MB update loop), tried a million things to fix this, but haven't tried USB factory reset yet. Will give an update if this works or not. Support has been 110% useless so far.

Factory Reset Has Frozen

Tried everything. Xbox keeps freezing so tried a factory reset as a last resort. Now it's stuck at 66% on the reset and not doing anything. What do I do now?

We'd recommend resetting your network and then perform a
power cycle on the console. After this, are you able to connect to Xbox Live? If not, would you be able to upload a picture of the error that you are encountering on the console to your post so we can further look into this?

Stuck in a loop on the loading screen for 3 days now, I have factory reset my xbox and reinstalled gta online and still can't play the game, support from rockstar to change dns servers didn't work, no further reys to my tickets, can anyone help?

I do the OSUDT2 and now it's stuck in an update loop. Ohhh this is infuriating... should've gotten a PS4 ;/

Gonna give the factory defaults a try next.

Update: Power-cycled again after failing to update during xbox setup (after having done factory reset), in which update got to same point, about 52%, before shutting down.

I'm now stuck in a loop where I can either run the update again, which fails, or turn off the xbox.

I'm looking into updating offline via another factory reset, but don't have a flash drive handy today to try this...
