    as above i trief to change my account name. i bought forza before i knew that this accunt have this weird name. so i was about to change it and i was cool with that high price.. but after paypal told me everything is fine bla bla i got nothing. no money
    was withdrawd, no name change, paypal is removed (i bought forza with that..) and the name is locked. rly nice...

    i checked the payment to add paypal again but i need to enter my adress. the thing is, there is only america as option and nothing else.. can anyone help me with that? thanks

    Can't use Paypal to buy gamertag

    Hello,

    I just configured my paypal account information in the payment options part of my account, and I can't choose it in the payment window of the gamertag change. I can only add a new credit card. I don't have one, I want to pay with Paypal. Why can't I, and
    how can I do this. I am already pretty outraged that you are making me pay to change my name, even after I didn't change it for like 8 years, but now I can't even use my Paypal account to pay for this?

    I'd like to say that I'm not changing my name out of pure desire, I just need to clean up my public image as i've become a teacher.

    Well I do have a differant name on my email and the paypal, is there anyway to change the emails name or the xbox lives name

    This is just a public forums and no one here has access to your account information to figure out why your account is only showing America as an option if you do not live in America.

    the ms supported helped me out. was a weird issue but anything is fine now. the online live support was very good.

    try to change your region in the console settings, if the problem continues and you will still pay by credit or debit card open a paypal account and use it as a payment method

    My problem was the name on the account. The Xbox Account, not the bank account/card details (xboxlive...Account/BillingAccountInformation).

    After changing this to my real name (rather than nickname), I was able to add a card - BUT still not able to process a payment.

    I then added a PayPal account to my xbox account, and...

    Back on Gold!
