Tried purchasing a product, but was "currently unavailable"

Hi, Microsoft!

wanted to puchase Minecraft to play with other friends and such, typing in minecraft in the micorsft store on my Xbox One. the results was just Minecraft (not Xbox One edition), me not realising that their
was an Xbox One Edition, i purchased it. i did not realise that their was a Xbox One edition of Minecraft as it did not showed as a result of typing in "Minecraft". i could not play with friends as they had minecraft Xbox One Edition while i didn't, i
would do a thorough check of the Microsoft store, but still didn't pop us a result. i compared games with friends to find the Minecraft: Xbox One Edition that i could not find on the Xbox store on Xbox One. i clicked on the game hub and pressed "see in Microsoft
store". it brought me to the Minecraft that i wanted to purchase but could not purchase it as it said "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is not currently available". this frustrated me as i could purchase the product that i wanted and i could not the find the product
the i wanted in the Xbox store as it would not show as a result. On the other hand, why is their two Minecrafts? why cant it just be one minecraft that i can play with friends and not be two seperate minecrafts. but anyways i wanted to see if i can get help
with this problem that i am having

when I registered for the beta it said Product keys are currently unavailable in the next page. why?

Hello DEMONIC GNASHER,

Keys are not being added instantly anymore, you will need to wait until sometime next week (more than likely Monday/Tuesday) to get a key on the site. Since there has been extreme demand for the dashboard preview they have been having issues
keeping up with demand of keys. Please be patient as they are working to get everyone keys as fast as possible. You do not get an e-mail when a key is ready so you actually need to keep checking back on the site.

If you have a key available it will show up on this page here, if not, be patient.

Once you receive your key and have redeemed it on the console you are prompted to download the Beta Registration application. You finish downloading and registering your console and then you patiently wait a 1-2 business days (as far as I can
see the support reps work from Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM PST) so if you register on a Friday, wait until Monday/Tuesday.

Once you are prompted to receive the new dashboard update you from THEN wait upwards of 5 business days in order to get access to the private beta forums. You are getting "GROUP NOT FOUND" because you do NOT have access yet.

Please be patient! I understand you guys are all eager to get access and report your bugs and feedback but waiting upwards of 5 days is not going to hurt you considering you have all the time in the world to test and report your bugs and feedback.

Have you tried purchasing it in your browser on your PC?

 

well i have used the internet explorer on the xbox (waiting for christmas to get my PC). but i look up Minecraft: Xbox One Edition on the microsoft store on said Internet explorer but still, it won't let me purchase it which still frustrates me and i don't
know what to do cause i can't get like a refund or anything due to Microsoft doesn't allow refunds.

i checked today (14/december/2017) and is still says "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is not currently available". Im slightly confused as my friends have Minecraft: Xbox One Edition while im not able to get the product that i want leaving me felt like i got
scammed for my money.

well i used the Internet Explorer installed on the Xbox One (waiting for Christmas to get my PC), but going into the Microsoft store and finding Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, it still won't let me purchase it saying "Not available" on the red box where you
should press purchase which leaves me in even more frustration.

Having this problem happen to me makes me feel that microsoft scammed me for my money and gave me the wrong product which makes me feel that i shouldn't even touch the microsoft store ever again.

hearing from my friends they were able to get Minecraft Xbox One Edition for free as they paid for MInecraft on the Xbox 360 (i may be wrong, they told me this yesterday and i kinda forgot the conversation) and i don't know for the reason this problem is
happening is because i brought the wrong Minecraft and it's refusing to allow me to buy the other Minecraft, relates to my other aruguement, why is there two Minecrafts? Why can't it just be one Minecraft by itself? well anyways i hope an official microsoft
staff see's this post.
