Discus and support tried changing my gamertag and now i can't access xbox live? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So on my 360, I tried changing my gamertag using the free change they provide, but my internet was having issues and i never got a popup saying it had...     So on my 360, I tried changing my gamertag using the free change they provide, but my internet was having issues and i never got a popup saying it had succesfully changed. I then tried to play a game of garden warfare online but it said i had no connection.
    I turned off my console and when i tried to log in with my account it said it still had my old gamertag and also said "This profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again.". I logged in fine on my computer with my xbox account,
    and on here it says my new gamertag. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Changed GT, now I can't download profile

    i changed my gamertag on PC after it not working on the Xbox, and when I tried to log in it wouldn't log me on and said to redownload the profile, so I deleted it and now I can't download, it says XBL profiles can't be downloaded right now.

    I've tried resetting my router, clearing cache, changing password.

    I am having similar issues. My daughter tried paying to change her gamertag the other day and it did not work, but for whatever reason support told me that it did get changed but we cannot access the avatar from her xbox, only from the computer. I am not
    sure what to do.

    I can't access xbox live due to Windows Live ID being blocked.

    I already created a new Windows Live ID and linked it to my gamertag, I changed the password also. The problem persists, my Windows Live ID is still blocked and I can't access Xbox Live.
