Trial code says redeemed, but it wasnt

Where did you get this Trial code from?

Was it included in a game or did you get it somewhere in the internet?

Is it possible that someone else bought the console before you, used the code, and then returned the console to the store?

Also: promotional codes that you get "for free" included with a game, a console or a promotional event usually have an expiration date. So there really is nothing you can do, unless the store sold you a returned console. In which case you'll have to talk
to the store where you bought the console.

remove your profile > turn off console > turn it back on > re-add profile

Im not sure why, but theres an expiration date of 1/31/19. I didnt even purchase the console until august!

The slip card that has the code which came with your console bundle must have been there before August. Check with the retailer where you bought it. If you ordered it through Microsoft Store, get ready
to take a picture of the slip card (front and back) and contact Xbox Support
they will need to have the code verified before issuing a replacement.
