Trial and Now Error

I had the trial for Battlefield V installed an I was playing it a bit here and there. But then one of my friends on Xbox live sent me a redemption code for the game. I redeemed it and I have played all that was left on the trial version but now it’s
telling me to buy the game to own but I already own it. I deleted the message in which the code came in because I didn’t think I needed it again. How can I fix this? He spent $60+ dollars on a game for me and I can’t even play it.

Try to reinstall the game, could be happen because you left the trial installed. So uninstall the game, go to the store and install it from there and see if fixed.

I would uninstalled and reinstalled the game. If that doesnt work I would contact Xbox Support. They dont have a number to call but you request a call back.

Also, doesnt matter if you deleted your messages you will be able to see your ordee history on the Website and here how https://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/xbox-subscriptions/check-xbox-live-bill.
And your friend can see their order history too and it would show up as gift on their purchase history.

If his is like mine there is no error. My install got stopped at 100% and would not finish, so I uninstalled it and now when I try and DL the trial it says "Trial Expired" in grayed out letters and won't let me DL it again.
