Traveling on Business from US to Canada - can I play my Xbox One?

Hey folks from internet land!

I'm going to be traveling on business for the next few months from the US to Canada. I'll be spending a week or two at a time in Canada, which means I'm going to spend a lot of evenings sitting in hotel rooms, bored out of my mind.

In the past when I've traveled across the US, I've packed my Xbox One in a travel case with a few games, and while I don't often get to play online, I can at least play solo games.

My question is do I need any special adapters to plug in the xbox, are the TV connections any different - what do I need to make it work? And IF I can connect it to the internet (always tough to do in hotels anyways,) do I need to do anything special with
my account to make it work?

Will my US/N.American Xbox One play International Games?

My parents are currently traveling to multiple countries. Currently in China, and able to purchase legitimate Xbox One games (both major US titles and local). They will also be traveling to Thailand, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand.

I am curious, will my Xbox One system support playing games purchased overseas? Will games purchased in China play on my Region 1 Xbox One, or from any other country outside of where it was purchased?

This is a good question. What a joke it would be if you bought a US Xbox One and couldn't play in Canada.

Hi

I don't believe there is any differences between the two countries as far as connections are concerned. The console connects to the television using a HDMI cable and the power sockets are also the same. The only thing I would do before you travel is to make
sure you have this console set as your
home console then you will still be able to play any digital games you have purchased without needing and internet connection.

Yes it will work xbox one S is dual volts so it will work on the 240v in the UK and 110v in canada. You just need too buy a travel adapter has the sockets are differnt canada they use the 2 prongs only.

Yes,your games should work if they are digital copies,they will work fine if they are physical copies.

Ok, next play session I will check it out. I have been to Honeystrand (lots of bees, bears and nests) so I can fast travel there and pick up the hunt.

Havn't played in a couple days, been busy prepping for my Disney World vacation on the 11th.
