    I am doing a school project and I would like to know what the transmission protocols are for either an xbox 360 controller or xbox one controller, this is the code which actually allows the controller to communicate directly between a certain type
    of games console and understand the button input.

    disconnects frequently, NAT type

    @Jaymo - There's no need to try forward port 80 for UDP.

    In contrast to UDP (User Datagram Protocol), and IP (Internet Protocol), the TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) protocol is a connection oriented protocol. Port 80, mostly used for the HTTP protocol, don't use UDP. HTTP requries flow control and error checking,
    which can't be accomplished by UDP.

    NAT Problem Persists with **** TG862G and Apple Time Machine

    Multiple layers of NAT often works seamlessly with the TCP protocol, where UDP will face multiple issues, due to the fact that UDP are connectionless protocol. When you use your console, the most used transmission model of them two is UDP.

    If there is anything that deals with wireless rate (54, 145, 300) that could also effect what your router sends out in protocol. If there are also any transmission options ( like a manual # or "best possible") that you can change, it might help too. What
    is your router model?

    What is the next step for gamming

    Of course consoles get more power, but internet is getting faster at the same time, so Cloud gaming like XCloud is going to be a big part of it.

    Also, I hope that we can figure out better protocols for fast short range transmission , to wirelessly transmit data to e.g. VR headsets
