Transferring Xbox profile from closed Microsoft account to current account

Just a quick note, the 60-day grace period expired a while back. Does this render the Xbox account permanently inaccessible?

Hello Demitrius, let's go in parts, your Xbox Profile belongs to your Xbox account, whatever, first or second account.

If you want to close an account your Xbox profile will also be terminated, and unfortunately you can't transfer saves or games from one account to another.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about being able to transfer content over to another account.

As per the
Microsoft account on Xbox FAQ there is no way to combine or transfer content from one account to another.

I hope this was able to clarify any confusion this might have caused.

unfortunately not, they do not move or transfer content licence from account to account. also cant unlink xbox profile as the microsoft account IS the xbox account, they are one in the same.

There isn't a way to permanently delete an account from existence on the Xbox LIVE service. The closest thing you will get to cutting all ties with the account is by either closing the Microsoft Accout that you are using with it now or by transferring the
gamertag to a newly created temporary Microsoft Account, and then closing the Microsoft Account once the transfer has taken place.



In order to achieve this, you would need to follow through with the below guide

Once you have done that, you can close the Microsoft Account via :

• Logging into www.outlook.com
• Click your name in the top right hand corner and select 'account settings'
• Select 'security and passwords' on the left hand side.
• Click 'close my account'.

This will cut all ties with you and the account which is almost as effective as closing your account. Please be sure to remove any payment details before you follow through with this process and note, that this will not only prevent you from using this account
on Xbox.com but also on any console or other Xbox LIVE service.
