Transferring Xbox live account to new email

Hello

I'm trying to transfer an account off of an old email but it won't transfer due to me having $0.02 funds....is there any way to override it?

Also I'm not a new user I'm a long time player

Account Weirdness

It sounds like an xbox live account was set up on the other email which is why youre probably seeing that as a gamertag. Theres no way of transferring a GT to a new email address as theyre tied specifically to the address. You would need to create a brand
new email address to add as an alias which didnt have an xbox live account set up.

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

I know that but there is nothing to buy with $0.02 and if their was show me ..

 

You'll either need to add more funds to the account to purchase something or add another payment option such as a credit card or Paypal to cover the difference when you purchase something. That's the only way to remove the currency.
