hello, the furthest i got with xbox support was to make a new separate account. they had told me they could transfer everything to a new account within a couple of days , then nothing was ever transferred to the new account.

yes if you get a new xbox make sure you know your email and password for your account so when you get a new xbox you just recover your account and it transfers your account and xbox live to your new xbox the only thing it doesnt transfer is saved games so
i would keep the old hard drive and put it it the new xbox that you get

tranafer dlc licenses to the said xbox the dlc is usable on the new xbox offline
