Transferring Xbox account over to new email adrress?

Hello, Scott 55, as of now there is no possible way to transfer game progress over to another Xbox account. The best thing I would do is give the account to your child, or transfer the email accosiated with this account to a new email. Thank you for understanding.

Did you actually contact xbox support and fill out the account compromised form with them where they had you create a whole new account so that their escalations team could transfer all your information to the new account?

If so this could take up to 72 hours for the escalations team to get everything transferred over to your new account and they would send an email to the new account letting you know that everything has been transferred over and that you can start using that
new email and password to sign into your xbox profile.

The only way around this is give your son your old Microsoft account and create a new one for yourself and transfer your emails over.

Even if you create a new email alias on the old account, the content is still linked to this account and can still be accessed through his Xbox.

Please note, email aliases cannot be transferred between account. So won't be able to add the old alias to the new account. Even if you do change it.

all the alias is, is another name for the account, there is just one email account, all the email addresses point to that one account. you basically need to create a new account for yourself and start over. there is no way to transfer your xbox account or content to a new account. the account you are using is your dads basically.

Did they have you create a new account so they could transfer all of your information over from the old account?

If so once they fill out the form and send the information to the correct team it could take that team up to 72 hours to transfer everything over you would want to keep an eye for an email on that new account that you created that is how they will inform
you that everything was transferred over.
