Transferring Vbucks credit between Xbox accounts

Hi,

I am a complete novice where Xbox is concerned and bought Vbucks via microsoft store to gift to a friend's son for his birthday. They are on my Xbox account (I didn't even realise I had one!) and I need to transfer them to him. Is there a way of doing this?
I can't see any option either on the Xbox or on my Microsoft account and am losing the will to live.

Is there a way of transferring vBucks purchases from one account to another?

Hi,

My son has 2 Microsoft accounts, one is .com and one is .ie.

We accidentally purchased vBucks for the wrong account.

Is there any way of transferring vBucks from the .com mail account to the .ie account (the .ie account is the one used on his xBox).

Appreciate any help in advance.

Money on my childs account unaccessable

Did you gift your child some store credit and them purchase them vbuck in game on your childs account. This is how I did this with my kids.

Basically give them some credit, and when they go to the store in the fortnite game, they can then select purchase vbucks, and then it will buy them with the credit you have put on there account.

This has to be done ingame on the childs account though.

As far as I know you can't transfer vbucks from one account to another.

You can try to get a refund as described below (source:
reddit post)

After refund you can try if you can buy vbucks with the "buy as gift" option.

Another option is to buy a xbox gift card (or code) and hand that over as gift.

1. Go to Contact Us | Xbox Support
   
2. Click “billing”
   
3. Click “no thanks” for the virtual agent
   
4. When you are asked to pick a category, click “Payment and Purchases”, then “Check your Xbox purchase history”
   
5. Under “4. Contact method”, I clicked “chat with Xbox support”, but I’m sure that requesting a call could work too
   
6. When the chat opened, I told the guy what happened and that I only meant to buy the v bucks once, and he was able to refund the second purchase.
   

 

V-bucks can't be transfered between accounts.

 

Hey bud! Thanks for the post. Unfortunately the only way to gift in game currency is to have the account that is being used to play fortnite actually purchase the Vbucks. You cannot transfer from account to account. Any and all support for in game currency
is handled by Epic games in general. Here is a link for
Epic Games support channel if you have any questions.

Hi there, I have the same problem except I need to transfer the Vbucks to my child's account as I will never play Fortnight on Xbox! I have been in touch with Epic Games but they won't help me as the purchase was not made through them but was made on my

Well, there's no way for you to transfer game content like in game currency between accounts through Xbox or Microsoft.

The only way for that to happen is through Epic.

If you want to maybe try to request a refund as well through our
Support page entitled but if generally, in game consumables are ineligible.
