    Transferring saves/Gamertag Xbox360-Xbox one


    Hello anyone that reads this post just bought an Xbox one and I have my old 360 elite which contains my xbox live profile along with games achievements etc. How do I transfer this data onto the Xbox one. I entered the same email address used on my old profile
    into the xbox one but it generated a random name for me I am guessing it have something to do with the cloud and how I haven't uploaded anything to it any assistance would be appreciated.

    I'm also having issues transferring my Xbox 360 save to my Xbox one. The weird thing is, I'm only having trouble transferring a specific map of mine.

    Xbox gamertag transfer help

    Hi i have a question about gamertag transfer from the 360 to the one and i know i can find this anywhere but my situation is a bit different. My 360 has never been connected to the internet but obviously my xbox one has, so can I transfer my 360 gamertag/gamerscore to my current xbox one gamertag/gamerscore?

    Transferring saves/Gamertag Xbox360-Xbox one

    If your account on the previous console was signed into Live, then all of your account information would be saved on the Live servers. If it was an offline account, the information wouldn't be saved so you would need to join Live with that account first.

    If your account is Live account, then you need to make sure you are definitely signed into the correct account information (there are instructions on this page on how to sign in with a current account -

    support.xbox.com/.../sign-in-solution    ). Everything should automatically show up once you sign into your account.

    DLC, games and savefiles will just be available for download but will not be transferable through the transfercable. Savegames need to be saved to the cloud on the Xbox 360 before they are made available on the Xbox One the other content will just be available
    as a marketplace download or from the ready to install list

    Yes, you cannot transfer saved data between accounts on Xbox One, or 360. It is saved either to YOUR cloud, or your storage with your gamertag.. This is for YOUR account only..

    No you cannot, the saved games is associated with only the one gamertag and is non-transferable.

    gamertag changed after joining live.

    I think this is correct, but probably the saves are in a different Gamertag as game saves are assigned to Gamertags.

    So lets say I have two accounts one is for a member of my family and the other is mine. So if I have a save on Battlefield 3 the other account cant access those saves because they are assigned in my name so probably you'll have to transfer the saves to your
    Brother in law's account. If you have the old Xbox 360 try this out
