Transferring rewards from parent to child

Hi, I have funds in my microsoft account that I want to transfer to my child's xbox account. I cannot see a way to do this. Others have asked this question, but all the links to answers are dead. This should not be so difficult. I suggest adding a button
on the "add funds" to child's account button to allow rewards transfers.

Hi Carol! Just to clarify: Are you looking to give your child your Microsoft account balance or Microsoft Rewards points? While transfering account balance isn't possible, you can give Rewards points to your child or other family members by adding them
to your family in the 'Family' tab in your MS rewards hub.

I think what he meant to say is you are unable to transfer currency from one account to another. However, on the console you may be able to buy game or DLC as a gift with the currency and send it to your kids account. As Julian stated there is ways to transfer
reward points. Be very careful when doing that though there are many issues with it.

you can indeed transfer money from a parental account to a child account, can be done accidentally too, not sure if there is a way to transfer back as child account cannot transfer money.

You can't transfer licenses or content from one account to another.

The accounts Parent / Child are separate accounts. The parent account just manages the child account.

The child account will remain a child account until the birth date that was used for that account reaches the age of 18.
