transferring profiles to new 360

recently purchased a new 360 for the family and transferred the profiles to the new hard drive via thumb drive.I was able to get my profile working after two days but I cannot get my wife and sons to work even after changing the microsoft password. The xbox
website doesnt work with the new password either. Any advice would be appreciated.

Xbox 360 system transfer HELP

So I shared an Xbox 360 console with a sibling and we each had our own profiles. So I purchased a new 360 Slim and wanted to take everything associated with my account on the initial console (profile, achievements, game saves) to the Slim.

I transferred everything on a USB but although my profile and achievements transferred onto the USB and loads on the Slim, no game saves to be found.

What can I do to harvest the game saves from the original console without causing problems to my sibling's account and content on the original system?

Adding my partners Xbox 360 Username to the Xbox One

It sounds like you created an offline profile on your 360 for your partner. Unless it's an online profile with a unique associated email address, you won't be able to transfer it across. Your profile transferred, but your partners isn't attached to it, it's separate and offline on the 360.

I'd look at trying to convert the offline profile on your 360 to an online one, associate an email with it, then load that up in the One.

the first thing to try and fix is to be able to login on the xbox websites with those accounts.

Please try the steps on this link on how to reset the password:
support.xbox.com/.../forgot-microsoft-account-solution

If you were able to reset the password you can try to redownload the profiles via the steps here:

support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Before downloading the profiles be sure to clear the cache: Clear the console cache, see this link for the how to:

I've had similar issues before, and this was my solution.

I had an older 360 that my account was previously on, I used an Xbox 360 HDD data transfer cable and plugged my old harddrive into my new 360, transferred my profile over to the new 360. No downloading, profile was now on new 360. I understand you may not have
the ability to do that, but it always worked as a solution when I had that issue.

The thing to remember is that if you used a 360 Transfer Cable to transfer your content to another console, only the profile that actually purchased the DLC will be able to use it on the new console eventhough any profile on the previous console was able
to access it before. The way around it is to have the profile that purchased the content redownload it on the new console, eventhough it's all ready been transferred, after this step any profile on the new console will be able to access it again...

If it is achievements you want to transfer to the new profile (since you cannot transfer save games), you have to link your offline profile on the XB 360 to your online profile (live gamertag). So at least this can be done.
