Transferring points between family members

Is there a way to transfer Xbox Live points between family members? I understand this was possible under the old Family Membership, but I believe this membership type is no longer available. Is that correct? My son has been accruing points under my membership
and he is looking to have his points merged with his player's profile. Please advise if this is possible and how. Many thanks,

and I just did the same to buy the Mortal Kombat game wich is ON SALE and CANT BUY IT!

 

Nothing can be transferred between accounts. You are correct that the family plan was discontinued as well as the point system.

Do you mean gamerscore, the number that increases when you unlock achievements? Those cannot be transferred between accounts, and they couldn't be under the Family Plan, either; there has never been moving/merging of gamerscore.

It's a little confusing because people often call gamerscore "points", which could then be confused with Microsoft Points. The latter Points have now been replaced by local currency, but achievements and gamerscore remain.
