Transferring Play History to new Gametag

My son has been using my Gamertag for the last couple months and has built up some play history. I just created a new account and gamertag for him to use. He's really bummed that he may not be able to transfer his play history to his new account. Is
there a way to transfer his play history? or does anyone have any ways around that?

I had thought about that, but I am the parent on my gamertag... and is attached to my own personal email, which I don't want to be that way long term... Is there a way to change the Microsoft account that the gamertag is attached to??

Unfortunately, there is no way to transfer game saves or game history legitimately. My own kids recently found this out when I started making them their own tags and they wanted to play Slime Rancher. Fortunately, some games are fun enough that replaying
isn't a huge deal for them.

Like the others said sadly you cant. However I would have suggested giving your son your old GT (changing it) and you taking the new one.

Thanks for reaching out. As mentioned above, transferring data from a different account is not available. I recommend to try changing the email on the account. Check out this article:

How to change the email address associated with your Microsoft account.

Take a look at that resource article and see if this fits as a workaround. Please keep in mind,
If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as
@hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available to sign in to any Microsoft services.
