Transferring Ownership of dlc to a new owner.

A year ago i had an account with black ops 1 Dlc on it and there after the account was hacked. i still had the account and the dlc on the hard drive but one day i decided to delete the account because it was wasting space and i couldn't get in the account
anyway. So i went and deleted my old account but i accidentally deleted the profile and it's items! (any sort of dlc, themes, gamer pictures, etc)I checked awhile later and i found out the dlc was still on the hard drive but no one owned it. i checked in game
(Black ops 1)and the dlc wasn't active but for some reason it was in my hard drive. My question is: can i make my new xbox live account be the new owner of the dlc instead of having to buy it all over again? The DLC are First Strike, Escalation, Annihilation,
and Rezurrection.

Just to be clear, license transfers are not meant to be used for sharing content. They work for transferring ownership from one console to another, not from one profile to another. For example: If your brother bought the Dragonborn DLC then
gets a new Xbox 360 console, he can use a license transfer to transfer ownership of the content to the new console. But it cannot be used to transfer ownership to your profile.

If you are wanting to play the DLC that he purchased on his profile, you will need to be logged into his profile to do so.

Are you logged into his account while trying to access the Dragonborn DLC?

As for transferring the content between accounts (in terms of ownership), that's either A] not possible or B] really, really, really hard.

 

DLC is tied the the account that bought and or redeemed it but as long as both accounts are on the original downloading console then you should be able to use it on those accounts. but if you deleted the original account off the system that it was originally
downloaded onto then the other account will not be able to access it. if you recover the other account (the original one) you should be able to access it again.

 

i can't re download the account because someone changed the email to it but the gamertag is the same, it's just my gamertag except without the zero at the end. if there is anyway to get it back please let me know. this happened a year ago and i still remember
the original email and password used the old account.

 

How long ago were you hacked? if you were hacked you should have called Xbox Support by phone and they would do an investigation into the hacked account and get you your account back along with the DLC you can call support now and see if they can do anything
for you.

 

i was hacked awhile back. more than a year ago. i still remember the name of the account and it isn't so far been used by the hacker. can i still get it back? and what proof do i need to show i owned it? i ask because the email and the password was changed.

 

Call Xbox Support by phone and they will let you know the exact info they need to be able to help you out and start the investigation, just note because it was over a year ago I am not sure if they will be able to start an investigation or not on this issue.
