    Transferring old xbox games to new xbox when old xbox doesnt work


    So my old xbox has a bad motherboard. how do i get the games and stuff transferred over to my new xbox when the old one wont turn on ? I have the old hard drive but never got a chance to back it up. when i plug it into the new xbox with a usb cable it
    doesnt recognize it. Are there certain files i can copy with my computer to a flash drive and then put the flash drive in my new xbox to restore game saves and account profiles ?

    how does xbox live work if i buy a new xbox 360 ?

    yes if you get a new xbox make sure you know your email and password for your account so when you get a new xbox you just recover your account and it transfers your account and xbox live to your new xbox the only thing it doesnt transfer is saved games so
    i would keep the old hard drive and put it it the new xbox that you get

    Games from when i used it on my old xbox. Everything worked fine on the old xbox just doesnt recognised any of the content installed.

    Im having an issue with a transfer from a GTA account, but its from a XBOX problem.

    I had an old xbox one, and my gta from compatible for that console, 2 days ago i buy the new console XBOX SERIES X, but when i tried to transfer the account from the XBOX ONE to the new SERIES X, it show me that it doesnt let me do it. So i was thinking maybe is because open in the old console, but it was already deleted it all the information from the previous one, and for the new one i had both games, the old one and the new one. Can i maybe know what i have to do, thats kinda frustating.
    What is the exact error message you are getting when you try to do the transfer?
