There's nothing can be done because you can't deage an account. I assume for security reasons. You can make him a child account and set up a family so he can have access to the games but yeah he'll have to start over on saves.

IF your son's email hasn't been used yet to create a Xbox profile before, you can actually change the email associated to a microsoft / xbox account.

Thank you, but unfortunately it doesn't help. I've already added his email, but it's no use because all his games and achievements are on my email, which I can't restrict. It's the loss of data that is important.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I doubt he'll want to lose all the progress in his other games.

This is a ridiculous situation. There must be thousands of us who want to make this simple change to our accounts. It should be an easy switch. Wake up Microsoft.

I'm afraid it's not possible to transfer games (and content) from one Xbox Live Account to another Xbox Live account.

An alternate option could be this:

- Setup a new account for your son and add him to the family, so your account can control your sons account via family restrictions.

- Set your sons Console as your accounts Home console, this will result in your sons account being able to play the games (and use subscriptions) purchased via your account

- Any game progress will be unavailable for your son's account. Accept for a few exceptions like with Fortnite, since any progress/content is linked to an Epic account and an Epic account can be moved and reconnected to a different Xbox Live account.
