Transferring Microsoft Gaming Account to Another E-mail

Hello, I have had the same Hotmail e-mail account since about 1999. I intend to keep it but I have since had kids and setup a Microsoft gaming account for them that links their Minecraft account and whatever else. I'd like to separate these now and link to either an existing e-mail or a new e-mail address for them to use separately from my existing e-mail. Is this possible and how? It seems like it should be a very simple request, but I am finding that not to be case in my searches.

Unfortunately its not possible. Everything is intrinsically linked to your Microsoft account (your Microsoft email).

Short answer - you don't.

Long answer - Account details cannot be transferred from one Microsoft account to another. All you can do is update the e-mail address on the current account (for example, if the current account is tied to an e-mail address you don't use).

to change your microsoft account you need to know your account password then go to setings>account>account security and change microsoft account. This will not work if you have outdated security info or if you have made any changes to your account info in
the last 30 days. also if you're moving to a g-mail or another accout that is not hotmail live or outlook the e-mail has to be registered at login.live.com click on sign up and register the e-mail address as a microsoft account. If you need to register your
e-mail address do not make the mistake of going to xbox .com this will automatically assign a gamertag to your e-mail address. the new e-mail address cannot have a gamertag on it. if it has you need to transfer that gt onto another e-mail address and wait
30 days for that e-mail address to become free.

Ok. Let's say I have 4 E-Mail adresses. 1, 2, 3, and 4. The Mojang account was created with E-Mail 1 and the Microsoft account also with E-Mail 1. But I had also a different Microsoft account with E-Mail 2. Once I changed the Microsoft account with E-Mail 1 to E-Mail 3. And then the Microsoft account with E-Mail 2 to E-Mail 1. After that I realised that Minecraft does't work with E-Mail 1. Then I remembered that I had a Mojang account with E-Mail 1 so I migrated this Mojang account to an another Microsoft account with E-Mail 4. I originally owned Minecraft with the Microsoft account with E-Mail 2(Now 1) and with the Mojang account with E-Mail 1(Now 4)

Hello Jeffrey, unfortunately there is no possibility to transfer games, apps etc from account to another account. Only thing you can do is changing the e-mail adress of the account. =)
