Transferring Gold back and forth between 360 and One

Is it possible, and if so, what is recommended way to use my Xbox Gold account between the 2 platforms. I know Microsoft would rather I buy a second subscription, that is in the their business model. Unfortunately not all of us have the finances and buying
power like Bill Gates.

Back/forth between One and 360 versions?

Is it possible to go back and forth between an Xbox One (running Horizon BC) and an Xbox 360 (running the 360 version from digital download)? I'm trying but it's not working. I started by running Horizon on the Xbox One. I noticed it never asked me where
it was saving. I quit FHXB1, logged out and shut-down the XB1. I then turned on my 360, logged into the same account and started FH360. It complains there's a save made on another console that hasn't be uploaded. Well, where do I tell the XB1 version of the
game to do this? I poked around a bunch of the menus (both inside FHXB1 and the XB1 menus) and there didn't appear to be any way to manage/move/sync anything with the cloud. Does FHXB1 support using saved games from FH360? Do either of them support going back/forth?
I ask this because we have both kinds of consoles and the XB1 has a better wheel controller. Thus leading to the kids wanting to go back and forth between them to use it. Or is this a known issue or a not-implemented feature?

There is nothing to transfer. If your gamertag has gold, then it will have gold on both consoles. The gold is tied to your account.

 

BUT if you have a 360 you need gold for each account on that console but only one is needed on the One as long as the primary user is gold on said One console.
