Transferring games and DLC from the 360 to the One.

Just bought an xbox 1! Now here comes the fun part. I play a lot of Ghosts and Battlefield(along with the DLC). Do I have to repurchase these games(and DLC) or are there other options? I have searched online and found no answers.

Transferring DLC and maps from Xbox 360 to Xbox One?

I am having an issue with the DLC transferring. I read in one of the topics that there are only a hand full that will be free from 360 to the One. I have all but a few and it seems all of them are charging to redownload.

 

You will have to repurchase the games and their DLC. There is no backwards compatibility. In certain circumstances some content will not charge you, details below.

For Ghosts, there was an offer where if you had bought the Xbox 360 digital copy you could upgrade to the digital copy on One for $10/£10, but that had to be done before 31st March so is no longer available.

As for DLC, if you own the season pass for Ghosts I think that does actually still transfer across. Go to the Store and look for Ghosts DLC and the prices there should update to FREE or Install Now if you are already allowed to download them at no cost.
In both cases if there are actual prices then you will need to re-purchase.

For this to work, you need to make absolutely certain that you are using the same account on Xbox One as you used to buy this content on Xbox 360.

For BF4, there was no digital upgrade offer, but if you have Premium that membership will carry across.

yeah is there a way to do a next gen upgrade for Trials Fusion. i had bougt Trials Fusion digiatally on 360 then 3 days later i got an xbox one and was wondering since the game is for both 360 & one if there some way i can transfer licensing or whatever
to my xbox one an not on my 360

 

@electricwun: Unfortunately for that game there is not anything like that.

 

Hi, you will need to repurchase any games that you had on Xbox 360 and want to use on Xbox One. This includes retail games, digital copies of retail games and Xbox LIVE Arcade Games, as well as all DLC. Nothing transfers over the consoles.

On games like Call of Duty and Battlefield, I do believe that your stats transfer over from Xbox 360 to Xbox One.

I was just in a Microsoft store where I was told that most of your dance central DLC will transfer to Xbox One Dance central spotlight. I got home and can't seem to find my old DLC on the One at all. Can anyone help or did that guy give me bad info?
