No, there is no way to do this via the web, and there is no possibility to go around that 30days wait time.

This is a security measure to prevent people (like hackers/phishers) quickly changing the details.

Hello paperiwnt! The 30 day requirement is only when a Gamertag has just been linked to a Microsoft account, either by, changing a Microsoft Account on an existing Gamertag, or on a newly created Gamertag. You should be fine to download your existing Gamertag
to your console and changing it from there with out having to wait for 30 days by following these steps. I hope this helps!

Can I switch my gamertag to a different Microsoft account?

You can change the Microsoft account that is associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. Here’s how:

1. Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
2. Go to Settings and select Account.

• You must also wait 30 days after your gamertag is downloaded from Xbox LIVE before you can switch that gamertag to a different Microsoft account. If 30 days have not passed since the gamertag was downloaded, you’ll get an error message.
  
• Before you can change the Microsoft account associated with a child account, you must provide the Microsoft account information for the adult account that has parental control.
  
• You can choose to require input of your Microsoft account password to sign in to Xbox LIVE. For more information on how to do this, see

Sorry but I really don't wish to wait 30 days, is there any way to change it through the web?

Help will be much appreciated.

EDIT: I tried changing but to no avail

^^My guess is he has 2 different emails and wants a certain GT associated with a certain email. To be completely honest you can do it via the web but its a pain and you would be better off just adding an Alias to your existing account like I did. Go to
http://account.live.com and login with your email and password and just click on add alias. Thats the easiest non hassle way of going about things.
