Transferring gamertag from old Microsoft act

Hi,

Could you not just add existing account on the xbox one? If your wanting to add your gamertag to another account you would have to delete your xbox360 current account then create a new one on xbox one with your old gamertag..

therefore you would have a whole new account with your current gamertag, please remember doing this may result in not being able to transfer game achievements/content etc. It would register as a whole new account.

On my new xbox I've redeemed my old account but I've changed the gamertag, I'm wanting to transfer games ext from my old xbox to the new one but the data is owned by my old gamertag can I still transfer from the old gamertag to my new one ??

I'm also having this same issue when trying to transfer a gamertag from an old account to a new one.

If you want the gamer tag you can change the Microsoft accounts around. However you will lose all achievements etc from the other account. You'll need to make a new email with Microsoft transfer your old profile to that one then transfer your old email to
the new profile with the desired GamerTag. Otherwise you'll need to change the gamertag on the account with the gamer tag you want then change it to the gamer tag you want on the account you primarily use. Changing your GamerTag costs $10 per switch. So all
