Transferring game downloads from one console to another

So the short of it, I have two consoles in different rooms of the house, both setup with my credentials.

at this point I'm a bit over putting the disc in so I buy most of my games on the store, is there a way I can transfer the download from one console to the other so I don't have to download the game twice?

Hi, i don't know if u can help me, but I need some advice. I recently brought a new Xbox and it won't let me set my Xbox as my home Xbox because apparently I have already done it 3 time. Is there a way of resetting it? As I have recent split from my partner
and had to buy a new Xbox.

There is no way to transfer games between accounts.

If the other user already set the console as Home, you would be able to play those games on your account (until such time that the account owner changed their Home Xbox designation) -- however, I strongly advise against using his account to make any changes
whatsoever as that could be considered as either unauthorised access to another user's account or having bought an account, both of which are against the Xbox Live Terms of Use and Code of Conduct and could result in suspensions/bans.

The best course of action is to remove the other user's account from your console.

Hi Micko! If you make sure to install the games to an external drive (or transfer the ones on your internal to an external) you should then be able to take the external back to your other console and play them without having to redownload them! This actually
applies to disc games as well - install from disc to external, you can take the external to the other console, put the disc in, and play without reinstalling!

No problem! I think you can transfer two ways, yes. Also, you might be more interested in this: if you set one console as your HOME XBOX, then, go log into the OTHER console and make a purchase, the download should automatically download and install to your
second console at the same time. (Basically, wherever you make a purchase and download something, that purchase will also download to your home console.) Now, if data usage is a concern, this method WOULD use 2x as much data, by downloading twice, but would
save time and save you from having to move a hard drive back and forth. Either way should work for what you need, just a matter of preference!
