Transferring Email Addresses

I used to have an Xbox Live account in middle school. I forgot about it and ended up creating a new one with my college email address. Now I have access to both accounts, but I would like to keep the newer one because it has purchases on it, but place it in the older email because I check it more frequently. Is that possible?

From what I’ve seen online, I can delete the original account. I can also change the email address of the second account. If I do that and change the address of the second account to the first, will it still tell me that the email already has a Microsoft account registered to it?

Yes you can delete the first one and change the alias of the second one. The second email will show as the secondary email not the primary one.

You can change your account alias on this link, click on ''edit account information'', add the new email and make it the main one of your account and if you want, you can remove the other one.

Please be informed that there's no way we can transfer account data and licenses. They will remain on that account. What we could only do is to switch or transfer email address as a primary email address of the account. However, that can only be done if the email address we're talking about is a 3rd party email address since we can replace it and transfer to a different account. If that was a Microsoft email address, there's no way we can transfer that to a different account since Microsoft emails are Microsoft account itself.

Create a new Windows Live ID and transfer the gamertag you don't use to the new email address. Then transfer your son's gamertag to your wife's email address.

That happened to me when I went to transfer one of my accounts to a different email address so i can transfer my main account to that email address. Instead, it made a new account without me doing anything and named it a random name. Have you at least tried
to transfer juiceboxsamurai to the email address you want it to be linked to?
