    Transferring data to another Hardrive


    I had a thought on if there was another way to get data (say you want the 1TB Xbox One bundle with Call of Duty Advance Warfare) then getting an external hard drive to save data and put it on the other console.? Like the cloud and how if so?

    kingston data traveller memory stick, will it work?

    Any USB stick can transfer data from one hardrive to the other, i remember transferring my resident evil 5 save from my old xbox to my new xbox.

    upgrading from old console to new console

    I recently just had my xbox360 show me one red ring. I followed the support steps and have established that the problem is my hardrive. I thought about buying a new hardrive and just transferring my files over but was told that i might transfer the problem
    over as well; is this true? Also if i just buy the brand new console how do i get all my data moved over to the new one? Will I lose all of my saved data?

    As long as you use your account you can. You can also use 1 home console to share games with others on it.

    Well if you dont have any USBs in your 360 you'll have it installed to the xbox hardrive but if you do and you have one of them selected when you first put in the disk it will have the data in one of those. To transfer data from a USB to the hardrive just
    go to System settings -> Memory -> Hardrive-> and what ever button the transfer content is on I think its Y.

    Other then that this is the best i can help

    You will have to buy the data transfer kit and plug it into your friends Xbox 360 then transfer all of the things you wanted, e.g. Minecraft then insert the data transfer kit into your Xbox 360 then copy Minecraft to your hardrive.
