    Transferring data from 360 to One for future?


    I have an Xbox 360 and am planning on selling it with the hdd.

    I am not planning on buying an Xbox One immediately but want to be able to play all my games and videos etc when I do eventually.

    I know you will soon be able to insert old 360 discs into the Xbox One and it will download the game, however I was wondering how I can transfer all my save data, demos and arcade games too (without yet having the One). Is it possible with a memory stick?

    If anyone knows the best way please let me know, thanks.

    Save all your saves on the Xbox 360 to the cloud in the storage menu. Backwards compatibility is still in its infant stages and not available to the general public yet any way without a preview program membership.

    You cannot transfer games unless they have been made for backwards compatibility, and then if they are you will be offered the chance to download them on your Xbox one.

    Currently the cloud is the only way to transfer saves from the 360 to the One. The data transfer cable is only meant to transfer data between 360 hard drives.
