Transferring content to another HDD.

Hello. I recently purchased another HDD because my first one was full. I am trying to transfer all of my data (mainly full games and DLC packs) to the new HDD, but still on the original gamer tag. Everything is working great except for the licenses. How
do I transfer these over to the new HDD?

If you do a license transfer onto the back up console, you will need to transfer again to make everything accessible for all on the original console again.

Content cannot be transferred from one profile to another.

But data ie, game saves and DLC can be transferred from one HDD to another via a data transfer cable, but will only work under the profile that it was downloaded into.

For your downloaded contents which you paid for, you can buy an HDD transfer cable and you can transfer datas to your new HDD.

eLbiChaN, it's a little complicated at first but here's how it "works". There are actually two methods of "Transfer". There is a License Transfer which is the DRM (Digital Rights Management) that allows you to play with your (or
anyone's else) Profile while Offline. And there is a Data Transfer. The Data Transfer (using a Transfer Cable) will simply Move all Content from one Local Storage Device to another (HDD to HDD).

So, in order to help a little more you need to clarify "transfer". If you are talking about the License Transfer, it will only Transfer the License for every Content that your Profile owns (via purchase) but not the actual Content itself. If it the a Data Transfer
using a Transfer Cable, it will move everything from one Xbox 360 HDD to another, regardless of which Profile owns it. The Data Transfer has no effect on the License Transfer (just to note).
