Transferring account information

My Xbox has two accounts on it. One of my account’s email address is going away soon. I have another account that I already set up as my new orimary account. I’m wondering first, will my Xbox account still function even if my email account gets closed? Second
(and more importantly), is it possible for me to transfer my data from one account to another one? If so, how do you do it?

Note: both of these accounts are on the same Xbox One.

An Xbox account is basically a Microsoft account. If an email address associated with that account was being closed down, you can just an another email address as an alias to that account and still get access. You don't need to set-up another account.

It's not possible to transfer data (i.e. purchased games or subscriptions) from one account to another.

There is no way to merge accounts or transfer information between accounts.

Did they have you create a new account so they could transfer all of your information over from the old account?

If so once they fill out the form and send the information to the correct team it could take that team up to 72 hours to transfer everything over you would want to keep an eye for an email on that new account that you created that is how they will inform
you that everything was transferred over.
