Transferring a gametag and associated purchases to another account

Hello. I have a Microsoft account (hotmail address) that I used for MS Office, Onedrive etc. A few years ago I used this account to setup my son's Xbox so all purchases etc are associated with this account. My son is getting older and I'd like to transfer
his gamertag and associated purchases to his email account if possible? Thanks

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning how to transfer your son's Xbox profile information and content to another Microsoft account. This feature is not available at the moment. The only option would
be to
change the primary alias of your Microsoft account to an email address that your son can use. However, you will not be able to recover the email address that you are using and place it on a different Microsoft account due to it being an @hotmail.com email

All purchases will stay with the account.

You can't transfer anything from one account to another. It is always associated with the account that it was purchased under.

can't connect because window live id is associated with a different gametag. enter another windows live and password

There would be no way to actually associate those games to your account. The original account that purchased them would still own the games and if they ever do a license transfer to another console, you will lose access to those games.
