    Transferring a game


    I bought MS Flight sim for my son for his birthday using an online code and tried to install it on my computer. However, it won’t work because I don’t have a graphics card. I don’t know what a graphics card is and so I decided to buy an x-box.

    Can I remove it from the PC and play it on the X-Box? Otherwise I will have a game on the PC that I can’t actually play.

    I find all this stuff confusing and infuriating. Much better when you had a floppy disc and it would say ‘Requires 486-SX or higher’

    Problem with transfer

    The license transfer only transfers game licenses between console. There is now way to transfer games between accounts.

    The license transfer only transfers content lisenses. It does not transfer game saves. You would have to use a data transfer cable as suggested or a usb drive to transfer the saves.

    Broken hard drive! I have a few questions about transferring data.

    If you know for certain it is corrupted, avoid doing a transfer. You could transfer content but the odds are good that the content will be corrupted in the new HD. Transfer cable transfers game saves, profiles, achievements, game licenses etc.
